obsessable.com - The Rock Band Kick Pedal from PDP is the officially licensed expansion kick pedal for all versions of Harmonix and MTV Games’ Rock Band. While it can be used as a replacement pedal for a broken one, it also comes with the adapter needed to have two kicks for the bass drum, heavy metal style.
Note that this package does not actually include two kick pedals; it only includes one kick pedal and the adapter you need to connect another. However, if you already own a licensed Rock Band drum kit you should be able to use this pedal with your existing one.
It’s available now for $24.99. Head to the product details tab for the full press release from Harmonix and MTV Games.

We’re still enjoying Guitar Hero at my office but I would be willing to move the Wii to a more spacious location in order to accomodate this awesome new Ion Audio drumset for Rock Band.
Contrary to popular belief, San Francisco is not a great music town, at least not if you are a drummer and want to practice in your house. Unlike the east coast (and presumably elsewhere) where basements are plentiful, the bay area is lacking in-home practice areas.
Generally speaking electronic drums are not that satisfying, but bring some video games into the mix and I’m on board. During a trip to Japan I sat down at the full-size drum machine game and played along to Crazy Train. All the kids thought I ruled until I told them I actually knew how to play.
Holly mother of God! The details of Mad Catz new official 3rd party release of RB instrument mods. A reported by ars:
Mad Catz has been given Harmonix’s blessing to create licensed Rock Band accessories, and now there are some firm details on what those instruments will be like. The items were shown on Amazon for a short time, but the links were quickly pulled. RockBandMods.net was able to grab the information, however, and there are some neat-looking things coming out.
The guitars are pretty standard, with the wired guitar coming up on June 22 for the Xbox 360, the PS3 version hitting July 15, and the Wii guitar being released August 1. It looks more like a real Fender and features a split strum bar so people with dexterous fingers can strum twice as fast. The wireless version for the Xbox 360 is coming September 15, with no information on wireless versions for the other systems.
