In Today’s Economy, Finally a Bargain

This has got to be the best PR ever! A 22-year-old Sacramento State College graduate, who uses the name Natalie Dylan, is auctioning off her virginity to help pay for school. She says “I don’t think auctioning my virginity will solve all my problems, but it will create some financial stability.”
Dylan says she has already taken a polygraph test to prove she’s a virgin and is willing to undergo a medical exam as well. “I’m ready for the controversy,” she says. “I’m ready to do this.”
Natalie hopes to net up to $1 million dollars from the auction, which will take place in Nevada at the infamous Moonlight Bunny Ranch, a legalized brothel. Ebay reportedly denied her.
“I’m not just looking for the highest bidder,” says Dylan. “I’m looking for someone who is a genuine, overall nice person.” Ironically, Natalie has a bachelor’s degree in Women’s Studies from Sacramento State and wants to pursue a master’s degree in Marriage & Family Therapy.

No Shit: Abstinence Doesn’t Work

Great op-ed on the facts of drugs and sex, and the removal from the human condition. Yeah Right. alternet.org

Recently it was revealed that the 17-year-old daughter of the Republican vice-presidential nominee is pregnant. This announcement was particularly ironic, as Gov. Sarah Palin is a staunch advocate of abstinence-only sex education.

This high-profile pregnancy is stirring a larger debate about how sex education is taught in the United States. What’s clear is that despite strong messages urging young people to abstain, most teenagers, even those who have been admonished time and time again, are not listening.

Our national surveys confirm doubts about abstinence-only education. Last year, a study commissioned by Congress revealed that students receiving abstinence-only sex education are just as likely to be sexually active as those who do not. This research is consistent with the conclusions reached two years ago by a joint Yale-Columbia study of teenage virginity pledges.

The same is true for the other big concern about teenagers — drug use. Look at abstinence-only drug education and you get the same disappointing results as with sex education. Read the rest here.

Rock Band SW Update, With Some Bad News…

SPECIAL NOTE ON THE RB FORUMS FROM HMXSEAN!

Hey all,

So there is a 360 title update coming out for Rock Band today, PS3 will follow and we’ll let you know when we have an idea when it will drop. What’s in it? A couple of things.

First of all - it updates RB1 so you will still be able to purchase DLC from the Rock Band store. Downloading this patch is required if you’d still like to do that.

Second - Lowers the threshold on gold stars making it easier/possible to gold star songs. This won’t affect leaderboards as it only affects the threshold, not the score.

Third - Lately a few songs have had unhittable notes. This should be fixed now.

Lastly - It will allow you to export your songs from the RB1 disc to the hard drive for play in Rock Band 2. Official language follows for this feature-

Nominal fee of $4.99 (400 Microsoft points) required for export of Rock Band 1 soundtrack to compensate music licensors for expanded use.The following Rock Band disc tracks will not be available for export into Rock Band 2: * “Paranoid” as made famous by Black Sabbath, * “Run to the Hills” as made famous by Iron Maiden, and “Enter Sandman” by Metallica. In addition, the title update will also be released simultaneously in Europe. Tokio Hotel’s “Through the Monsoon” from the European disc release of Rock Band will not be available for export into the future European release of Rock Band 2. (* Indicates a cover song, all other songs are original master recordings.) Expanded usage rights for these particular tracks were unable to be secured from the music licensors for this feature.

BullShit: Duchovny porn addiction
posted by: TweakyPete in Sex with the tags: , , . on 09 4th, 2008 | | No Comments »

You may be asking why my Imperial is featured in this post… I miss it, that’s why. Also, it was in an episode of X-Files. I’ve been thinking of my old car lately. I was a foolish man to get rid of it.
Anywhoo… Dave is full of shit. This is a marketing tactic for Dave’s awesome new Showtime series, Californication, where he plays a washed up writer addicted to sex. The porn reference was to shut his wife Tea up. But you can read the bullshit story put out by media whore Gannett. It’s just as full of shit as you would expect by people not in the know.

David Duchovny entered rehab after his addiction to online pornography spiralled out of control, it has been reported.

The ‘X-Files: I Want to Believe’ star – who announced last week he is voluntarily seeking treatment for his sex addiction – spent endless hours surfing X-rated sites on the internet, according to a friend.

The pal also denied David has cheated on Tea Leoni, his wife of 11 years.

A reporter for Fox News said: “I have inferred from my conversation with Duchovny’s friend that this has something to do with an addiction to pornography, probably on the internet. It’s the sex equivalent of a gambling addiction, where the person is just hopelessly trapped in chat rooms.”

Following David’s treatment, which is taking place in an undisclosed clinic, the couple and their two children are set to move to New York from Los Angeles, to get away from the hectic lifestyle of the Hollywood city.

It was confirmed Tuesday that Tea pulled out of her scheduled appearance at the Toronto International Film Festival.

She was due to attend to promote her new movie ‘Ghost Town’ following David’s revelation.

As reported by the Hearst Whores.

A man died after he was stopped by San Jose police, fought with officers and swallowed drugs, authorities said today.

Prince Swayzer III, 38, of San Jose died at a local hospital Tuesday night after a confrontation that began when he was pulled over at North Third and Hensley streets, police said.

Officers stopped Swayzer because they believed he was involved in drug trafficking, said Officer Jermaine Thomas, a San Jose police spokesman.

Swayzer became combative and resisted arrest and, while struggling with three officers, swallowed an unknown amount of drugs in an attempt to hide them from police, Thomas said. It was not immediately known what the drug was.

Officers stunned Swayzer with a Taser and subdued him. An autopsy will be conducted by the Santa Clara County medical examiner to determine the cause of his death.

No Shit: Amy Winehouse’s brain on drugs?
posted by: TweakyPete in Drugs with the tags: , . on 09 3rd, 2008 | | No Comments »

Well, thank you New York Daily News. I was just wondering why she’s dumb as a stump… jeesh.

Amy Winehouse should really get to rehab, yes, yes, yes! The singer might be suffering from brain damage as a result of some heavy-duty drug use, the New York Daily News reported.

The “Rehab” soul siren has overdosed twice in the past 12 months and her excessive drug use may have caught up with her. In August 2007 she went to the hospital after a binge on crystal meth, heroin and cocaine. In July, Winehouse was hospitalized again after reportedly smoking marijuana for a straight 36 hours.

Doctors are now worried that her repetitive drug use may leave her permanently disabled. The UK’s Daily Mail newspaper reports that Winehouse has “displayed symptoms normally associated with schizophrenia,” and has been warned that if she overdoses one more time, it may be her last.
