I remember hearing way back when that The Who’s Next album would be one of the first full albums to be released after the Rock Band launch. Well, here we are 7 months after the sucker’s out and still no dice for The Who.

Along comes someone from The Who’s fan club (who paid $50 for a t-shirt… and maybe some tickets) that Pete Townshend said a lot of the master recordings have been lost from the last half of Next, meaning The Who’s album won’t ever be released in full. If it does, it’ll be a cover band with a prefix of “as made famous by”.

I feel robbed.

SUNDAY, June 1 (HealthDay News) — Drugs used widely to treat anemia in cancer patients may actually speed progression of the cancer in certain individuals, but researchers report they may found a way to determine who those individuals are.

“We may have a test to predict whether a patient is susceptible to having their tumor progress if treated with erythropoietin and, alternatively, we may be able to predict patients it would be safe to treat with erythropoietin,” study author Dr. Tony Blau, of the University of Washington in Seattle, said during a Sunday news conference at the American Society of Clinical Oncology annual meeting in Chicago.

Today, we focus on fetishism.

A fetish is the sexual attraction to materials and objects not conventionally viewed as being sexual in nature. Body parts may also be the subject of sexual fetishes (also known as partialism) in which the body part preferred by the fetishist takes sexual precedence over the owner.

A sexual fetish may be regarded as a disorder of sexual preference, or it could be part of sex play to enhance a dormant relationship. On the other hand, fetishism is a compulsion or fixation on an inanimate object or body part that is not primarily sexual in nature, and there is obsessive need for its use in order to obtain sexual gratification.
