IOL: Actress was happy to film a sex scene for new movie ‘The Edge of Love’ - even though the naked romp was written by her mother.

The movie’s screenplay was penned by Knightley’s mum, Sharman Macdonald, who also served as a producer on the project.

Knightley insists that knowing her mother is capable of writing about steamy clinches didn’t faze her and she was happy to strip off wherever necessary.
She says: “She dared to put a sex scene in it. It didn’t worry me that my mother knows what sex is.

“Come to think of it, I was found under an apple tree. My mother is a virgin. I had no hissy fits when she presented me with the scene.”

I didn’t even know The Red Album was out yet. That’s how disconnected I am lately. After waiting a month for Doolittle, I couldn’t believe it… 3 Weezer tracks, all new, which told me there is a new album release (I know, I’m a fuckin’ genius). Troublemaker, The Greatest Man in the World, Dreamin’, and they most certainly are not scale-master songs, but incredibly fun to play.

Weezer (The Red Album) is a triumph for the old rock and roll war stallion. Just when you expect Weezer to shark jump (Weezer/Buddy Holly/The Fonze/Shark jump.. 4 degrees.. POW!) they launch another album move powerful than the last. This is a dreamy album yet with amazing power and crunch.

BTW, buy the deluxe version. The bonus tracks are worth the investment.

Working side projects suck. There is always scope creep, I always under bid, and the client always think they will make a million dollars in 30 days from a 5K web site. Anywho, I digress…

All I wanted to do was stop working on a Friday night long enough to download the new Pixies album debut on RB. It was then my night came to a screeching halt. Boot up, login, spkchance shows, network is there, go to Music Store, AND IT’S FUCKING DOWN! I had a smoke, and went to bed. Maybe tonight after work.

Well, I’m not sure how I feel about this…
I like hookers, and party buses are sweet, but from the looks of it, that’s as far as the sweetness goes for this crew. For me to get a hooker, I would need some pretty hot ass to take a risk like that, and you don’t see that everyday. So, for any of this to work for me, I need this fantasy to include hot chicks, low rates, and cheap booze… basically… I can’t mentally accept prostitution. Not for moralities sake, but that fact that it’s to expensive. Am I so wrong?

This isn’t the 70’s and we don’t play Space Invaders anymore. Those silly kids that spent their allowances on endless trips to the arcade (remember those?) now have kids, and grand kids. We are the #1 demographic of gaming revenue. We love Sex, Drugs and Rock! Give us more, not less… and as for my kid, I actually parent my kid. I actually keep an eye on her. I don’t let her play violent vids anymore than I let her stay out all night. Please, parent your own kids you lazy fucks…

It has been announced that legendary band The Beatles are currently in talks with Activision and MTV, on trying to expand their licensing deal to include video games. This deal could be worth millions of pounds and could of course lead to their appearances on Activision’s Guitar Hero, or MTV’s Rock Band.
The report suggests that this deal could be reached within a matter of weeks, so it will be interesting to find out more specific information on this as regards to Guitar Hero and Rock Band. Not everything is straight forward though as all the master recordings of the songs are owned by company EMI, and would need to be approved by them first, while another company Apple Corps manages all of their business interests. These are probably the main reasons why we are yet to see any of the Beatles tracks on Rock Band yet.
It is an interesting time ahead though for the rhythm genre as it may not be long until we see some of the Beatles tracks gracing the likes of Rock Band or Guitar Hero. A recent post on PS3 Daily stated that Guitar Hero and Rock Band are now as popular as ever, as Guitar Hero: Aerosmith was the latest game to follow the current trend.
How many of you would like to see a dedicated Rock Band game based solely on The Beatles, I personally think it would be very popular, as it could target a whole new audience for the developers, not to mention, getting the younger generation playing classic rock music.

Mad Catz has been given Harmonix’s blessing to create licensed Rock Band accessories, and now there are some firm details on what those instruments will be like. The items were shown on Amazon for a short time, but the links were quickly pulled. RockBandMods.net was able to grab the information, however, and there are some neat-looking things coming out.

The guitars are pretty standard, with the wired guitar coming up on June 22 for the Xbox 360, the PS3 version hitting July 15, and the Wii guitar being released August 1. It looks more like a real Fender and features a split strum bar so people with dexterous fingers can strum twice as fast. The wireless version for the Xbox 360 is coming September 15, with no information on wireless versions for the other systems.

Alex Grey, the most prolific artist in the past 200 years, and psychedelic drugs leader from the 70’s, is suing fellow artist Juan Pablo Fernandez for reselling his artwork. This is an interesting event for Grey since he is fairly open about the use of his artwork, but has had enough of the reselling of his lifeswork online. In parallel, Grey’s artwork is used extensively by the band TOOL, who actually funds legal experts to quash it’s fans from using any of its art in any form.

Tweaky’s Opinion: 6 years between albums… stopping fans from collecting bootleg material. Hey boys, you need to feed the beast. As a long time TOOL fan, I refuse to be part of the TOOL ARMY fan club. Why? You must sign an agreement stating you will not share or posses bootleg or copywrited material. I refuse. I will, of sound mind, collect every piece of unauthorized or authorized material that quiets my inner burning for the art. I will not sell or distribute, but I will collect. Whew, I’ve said my piece.
